Thursday

Today was a shopping day. But not any normal shopping day of course, this was apocalypse shopping and I was slightly terrified about going.
Got to ALDI - queue outside oh god I thought I'll go to asda instead..... Bigger queue oh god what do I do now??
I queued up. 20mins and the up side of an empty fully stocked store. I didn't need to worry. I can breathe again. I can feed everyone. All is well.

Day 7

Well today started early... Thankyou H 🙄 and R.
As of last night we are now in a lock down. It's craziness! Totalling unreal feeling. We had Breakfast then went out for our one walk of allowed exercise. Rs Whirli parcel arrived....

And he has hit the grand old age of 5months!

We did some gardening, had lunch. Then A has started learning the Ukele. J had another present this morning, a you are awesome journal and he loves it. Its been glued to him all day long!

Last of all we had a fire pit and toasted marshmallows.... Not overly successful as the fire kept going out but nice all the same.

Feeling a bit better about all the stuff going on now.

A: had a good day glad to be learning the Ukele.
J: loved his present still a bit worried about stuff.
H: had a good day

Day 6

We are meant to be in Cornwall. Splashing in the pool, visiting all the cool places we have been listing for weeks, enjoying the sunshine ☀..... But actually we are at home. It was a rough weekend trying to decide if it was right to go down to Cornwall, we thought we could isolate ourselves away but after seeing the news on Sunday evening with all the millions of numptys going either down there or to every available bit of outside space it seemed that a non essential travel ban would be on the cards and we would rather be at home for that.
Socially distancing from all the people and wondering what the hell is going to happen next. Its a strange time indeed and one that is only going to get worse before it gets better.

Jack has had one of his birthday presents today.... He has 5 so he is going to open one a day to make this a true birthday week!

I'm going to ask the boys to contribute to the blog by asking them how they are feeling with everything etc. I hope that by writing it down we can check that they are not worrying unnecessarily about things we can't control.

Jack: Bit bored today but looking forward to the week ahead.

Harry: Today has been epic.

Alfie: Feeling good.

Signing off now and wondering what tomorrow will bring. Especially as Boris is giving a bulletin at 8pm 🕗
