I need a holiday............
Probably what we shall be wearing as we embark on our learning adventure into the big wide world without boundaries and without school...

LOUDNESS
Why are my children so LOUD!??? Like really really loud! Their talking voices are mild shouts and they are normally standing next to each other at the time 😫 The smallest one is being grumpy unless he with me and crys.....a lot 😫

It's been 1 week.....
Actually longer than that that we have been in lock down now. It's not that fun, but on the other hand it could be worse. At least we have a garden and are still allowed out for a walk.
J is finding it the hardest, as he does love to go out and swing around things and jump over things and climb things etc.
We are still loosely sticking to our daily plan, with a few tweaks here and there.
M has been really busy with work... Looking after those key workers 😉
I'm going shopping tomorrow hopefully it won't be too bad and I might even pick up some easter eggs!!! 😜
The little monster eating his dinner very messy business ⬇️

J hits double digits
Yes that's correct. How did he get to 10???? To be fair how did he make it tto 10?? My dangermouse firecracker beautiful boy.
The week finishes off with all the presents, a tasty breakfast, a lovely walk and a visit to Gabas garden 😉 a BBQ, snores and a rest. It wasn't the birthday J was expecting but it was lovely all the same. In fact I'm really proud of him as this week has gone from getting ready to go on hols to the country being in a lock down. And he has taken it all in his stride.
BUT HEY What the heck!??? Who knew we would have such measures put in place in our life time. Who knew the devastating effect a bat virus could have on the whole wide world. Who dares to hope that the world will become a better place when we get through this. Because if it doesn't... What a terrible waste of a second chance we have been given what a burden we will have left our grandchildren with, what a mess!
Thursday
Today was a shopping day. But not any normal shopping day of course, this was apocalypse shopping and I was slightly terrified about going.
Got to ALDI - queue outside oh god I thought I'll go to asda instead..... Bigger queue oh god what do I do now??
I queued up. 20mins and the up side of an empty fully stocked store. I didn't need to worry. I can breathe again. I can feed everyone. All is well.

Day 7
Well today started early... Thankyou H 🙄 and R.
As of last night we are now in a lock down. It's craziness! Totalling unreal feeling. We had Breakfast then went out for our one walk of allowed exercise. Rs Whirli parcel arrived....
And he has hit the grand old age of 5months!
We did some gardening, had lunch. Then A has started learning the Ukele. J had another present this morning, a you are awesome journal and he loves it. Its been glued to him all day long!
Last of all we had a fire pit and toasted marshmallows.... Not overly successful as the fire kept going out but nice all the same.
Feeling a bit better about all the stuff going on now.
A: had a good day glad to be learning the Ukele.
J: loved his present still a bit worried about stuff.
H: had a good day

Day 6
We are meant to be in Cornwall. Splashing in the pool, visiting all the cool places we have been listing for weeks, enjoying the sunshine ☀..... But actually we are at home. It was a rough weekend trying to decide if it was right to go down to Cornwall, we thought we could isolate ourselves away but after seeing the news on Sunday evening with all the millions of numptys going either down there or to every available bit of outside space it seemed that a non essential travel ban would be on the cards and we would rather be at home for that.
Socially distancing from all the people and wondering what the hell is going to happen next. Its a strange time indeed and one that is only going to get worse before it gets better.
Jack has had one of his birthday presents today.... He has 5 so he is going to open one a day to make this a true birthday week!
I'm going to ask the boys to contribute to the blog by asking them how they are feeling with everything etc. I hope that by writing it down we can check that they are not worrying unnecessarily about things we can't control.
Jack: Bit bored today but looking forward to the week ahead.
Harry: Today has been epic.
Alfie: Feeling good.
Signing off now and wondering what tomorrow will bring. Especially as Boris is giving a bulletin at 8pm 🕗

ARMAGEDON
So armagedon has started.... Probably over the last weekend and it's got worse and worse. Strange times to be in and try to carry on as normal. For example right now I am watching "Thrill Collins" (an amazing tribute band that doesn't sing Phil Collins) live on YouTube doing a mega house party raising money for charity and bringing people together without touching.... Its proper bizarre. Any how see you tmrw and keep washing your mitts 😘
